| The Chulalongkorn Journal of Economics (CJE) (ISSN 0857-8397) has published 3
issues yearly in January, May and September since 1980 in English version, except that in 1989 – 1994 being printed in Thai.
The CJE publishes original papers and cases studies. The journal serves as a forum on economics research and the economics
profession. The CJE fosters analysis and discussions on the various theoretical and empirical researches particularly in the
countries in Asia and the Pacific region. No particular area of |

| economics study is emphasized. The CJE aims to become a main
source of analyses and discussions on the perspective of the Asia and the Pacific economic and social development in hoping to be
an effective communication channel between academic, research institutions, policy makers, businesses and the governments. |

| Submission of Papers |
| Papers in the areas covered by the CJE are invited for submission
regularly throughout the year. Special issues may be announced occasionally. |

| Review |
| All papers being published in the Journal will be reviewed and accepted
by at least two members of our editorial board. In addition to the peer review, the paper will also be refereed by the external
reviewers. This external review is to seek our judgments and suggestion on the improvement of the paper. The Journal will inform
you once we reach to the results of both steps |

| Guidelines |
| Manuscripts for CJE should be submitted via E-mail addressed below in
Microsoft Word format, Times Roman font 12, bolded headers/sections, single spaced of 10-30 pages long including tables or graphs
in the body of the document. Abstract is up to 150-200 words including a list of key words at the bottom. |

| Parenthetic documentation should be used for citations with a complete
reference list at the end of the article; e.g., (Chula 2008), and (Chula 2008, 99) for specific points of discussion. Footnotes must be
included at the bottom of the page. Abbreviations should be used as necessary and only after the complete name once. |
